Why Join SWE?
If you live in New Jersey, when you join SWE as a member of the national organization, you are automatically a member of our section. SWE membership is open to all women and men engineering students, engineers in all disciplines, and non-engineers with equivalent engineering experience.

- New Professional membership dues are $120 which includes the SWE magazine. Each year after that is $100.
- Student Upgrade dues (graduated within past 12 mos.) are $20
- Student Upgrade dues (graduated within past 24 mos.) are $50
- Retired/Unemployed dues are $50
- Lifetime membership dues are $2000
- Reduced dues are available for members who submit membership application after January 1 and before June 30th of the fiscal year
When you join SWE you’re joining more than an organization, you’re joining a movement toward equality and opportunity for women in engineering. Our mission is focused but our impact is vast. We provide the resources you need whether you are beginning, resuming, or building your career. We also encourage creative and intelligent girls at an early age to explore the field of engineering.
